Then theatre changed everything.
It taught me how to handle nerves, trust my voice and connect with an audience under pressure. Now, I teach others to do the same – without the need to learn Shakespeare.
I run practical, improv-based workshops that help teams think faster, speak up and communicate with real impact

MY BACKGROUND
Hi. I’m Dane McFarlane.
I help mission-driven companies build stronger communication skills to create real change.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked with organisation like Adelaide Festival Centre, City of Adelaide, and Stone & Chalk, to tell stories that create results.
I also spent twenty years in theatre. I’m an award-winning director, former Artistic Director of On The Fly Impro, and a National Maestro Improv Champion.
I’m passionate about helping people grow, and clients like City of Unley, University of Adelaide, and Accor Hotels have already benefited from my workshops.
